Iron Chef Big Dipper

While the main agenda of SLP is to teach the students English, it is also preschool for them. So in addition to having phonics, language, and reading every day, the students also have various activities such as music, ballet, art, science, monthly field trips, monthly birthday parties, and every couple of months, they have a cooking class. Today was that day. The kids have been learning about summer food. So today they (me) made banana splits. I stupidly wore a white sweater, but miraculously did not get any strawberry syrup on it. Aside from everything (except my white sweater) in my classroom being covered in syrup and ice cream, it was fun. The kids were SO cute in their little aprons.

Oh Laura. This is too cute. I love how they say banana.

are these your angels or the devils? hehe precious! Is the new trend to wear the head scarves for the girls? Were your kids wired that day? We had banana split day once and one of the parents brought in ice cream (my parents were crazy and it turned into a contest of popularity with ice cream so we put an end to this) so my kids were experiencing major sugar high and then they crashed.

Niki, these are my angels. Marley and I took them outside for playtime the other day. And when we went back inside, Marley had me take Cassiopeia inside first, so she could stay behind with Big Dipper and buy them ice cream. Hahahahaha. I am not sure of the story with the head scarves. They all just brought them in to match their aprons. And yes, the kids were out of control yesterday.

They already know they need to keep their hair out of what they are cooking! Smart kids!
