Why are all my posts about Korea, even though it's been nearly 10 months since I left?
Probably because Korea and I have many unresolved issues, one of which is the fact that my favorite shoes and the majority of my summer clothes are still there. In the world inside my head, I'll live in Korea again. In reality, I don't know.
But in the meantime, I enjoy my newly discovered love of Korean dramas, SO GOOD, and my renewed love of K-pop music. I also try to find random English teachers' blog from Korea. I spend an embarrassing amount of time reading them. While doing that, I recently came across this gem http://kikinitinkorea.tumblr.com/
I guess many of those things won't mean much to people who've not been to Korea, but I freaking love that page. And generally I hate tumblr, but no no no, not this one. Most of the things on there are oh so funny and oh so true, especially the "I'm not pregnant, I just like cake" bit.
In three short days, I will be donning a maroon short sleeve button up shirt with green lettering once again. It's been 3 years since I've worked there. I don't think I remember how. And next week subbing starts again. Are either my dream job? Not quite. But I'm desperate to leave the country at some point next year, and that takes money.
